DJ

REVEAL has the following default setup. If needed, we can change the order.

The CDJs are connected to each other via a link cable and to the DJ mixer via a digital cable. The DJ mixer supports headphones with either a 3.5 mm or 2.5 mm audio jack.

Live

Live producing is only possible by connecting your gear with two RCA (tulip/cinch) connectors to the analog input of a channel on our DJ mixer. Please bring your own cable with RCA connectors for this, as we cannot anticipate for XLR, 3.5 mm jack and other connector formats.

We can remove the CDJs and turntables you don’t need and we have also extra space and a dozen power outlets.

Recording

REVEAL records directly from the DJ mixer in a digital format. This results in a 24-bit 48 kHz WAV (PCM) audio file.

For your own (backup) recording, you can bring a handheld recorder or laptop with sound card directly to the analog recording output on the DJ mixer. We have a cable with two RCA connectors and a stereo male 2.5 mm mini jack for this.

For other formats, please bring your own cable with two RCA connectors.

Projections, lights etc.

REVEAL has lights (pars, spots, audience blinders, black lights and disco ball) and a hazer, which are all controllable via DMX and Artnet with MagicQ. Projection of visuals or VJing is possible with our beamers and visual monitors via HDMI. We provide a default show with these. Contact us if you have special requirements concerning this.
